"Good review. Always good to have the actual tests to study off of! I would recommend doing an additional section from some other book while doing these preptests though because they only include 4 sections whereas the actual test would have 5 sections."

- 10 New Actual, Official LSAT PrepTests with Comparative Reading (PrepTests 52-61) (Lsat Series)
Having now taken the test, I can say that the practice tests are what makes this material so useful. Undergoing 10 practice tests takes a lot of time, but it's the best preparation you can give yourself. I recommend just getting through a couple, and then beginning to time yourself to get a rhythm going. Pacing yourself during the LSAT is key, which is why the practice tests are so helpful. - Fantastic set of tests for studying for the LSAT. The book includes the tests, scoring chart, answer key, and the answer bubbles (located in the back of the book). The only thing that would be better is if it contained explanations to the test answers, but I'm sure that version would cost much more. Overall this is a great purchase for the price and a must have for anyone looking to take the LSAT especially since these tests are some of the more recent versions.
- Good review. Always good to have the actual tests to study off of! I would recommend doing an additional section from some other book while doing these preptests though because they only include 4 sections whereas the actual test would have 5 sections.
- While several services are needed in preparing for law school, these tests are one of the keys to success. Many have said that the biggest enemy in the LSAT is time management. In that sense, I think most students get the most help from practice LSATs where they may time themselves and then go back to see why an answer is actually incorrect--this helps to understand how to choose a "best" answer from many possible solutions.
This manual provides 10 LSAT prep-tests sectioned so that they may be taken individually and then scored. They also include writing section prompts so that LSAT takers can get a little practice on the sorts of things they may be asked to write about. These prep tests, for me, were the most helpful resource in preparing for the LSAT. - Even though none of the 10 LSAT preptest books have solution guides, you can easily find that information on the internet from other resources. Just be aware that you might not understand why an answer is correct and you'll have to do a little searching to understand why.
- Decided to go to law school and the next LSAT's were in a month. I only had four weeks to prepare and had been our of school for a 25 years. No test prep classes were available so I decided to try these books. After a few weeks my averages on the practice tests improved to over 160. If you decide to try these just be sure to review your wrong answers.
- If you plan on taking the LSAT, this prep series by the official law school admission council will help prepare you. These 10 exams were official tests given in the past. The only issue is that the reading comprehension section has recently been re-formatted so that it contains one passage wherein you compare two different author views on a topic; basically you will have to read two writings by two different authors and compare them. Otherwise these exams are very similar to the ones you'll be taking. I highly recommend because the exams are comparable to the same difficulty and level of logic games, logical reasoning, and reading comprehension that will be on actual LSATs.
- This is an excellent test prep material. I've used to many products but there is nothing that can compare to the actual tests. I used the whole book and ordered a second one! You won't be sorry. I felt very prepared for the LSAT and much less nervous knowing the exact format, etc. BUY IT.
